This is in particular steps taken by the USA Fed Bank. bank had gone for quantitative easing under which it will be taking back the government security worth of $600 bn from the USA market and will be pumping the same amount of money in USA to make the USA dollar cheaper. China and USA both have failed to reach an agreement in order to make currency market determined so should we take it as formal announcement of currency war?

so...what could be the possible repercussions on Rupee value?
will there be decrease in the commodity market like oil, gold etc., ?

appreciate if someone could explain with clarity.

Currency devaluation is more popular among countries who excessively rely on their exports; China-US trade imbalance is a result of it as it is cheaper to buy Chinese goods for American consumers than to buy American goods.

@Justin, well if America is going to devalue their currency then it means that our export will become expensive as empirically rupee will appreciate if Dollar depreciates then it will affect our exports such as software, petroleum products, textile goods, gems and jewelry, engineering goods, chemicals, leather with USA accounting for 12% of our exports. So there will be an affect on our exporting sector. Cost of our product will increase leading to lower demand as cost increases then demand decreases.
