hmm.........frnds considering Indian scenario in 2004 arnd whr congress was lacking 4m gud leaders........the situation of congress at that tym was known 2 all... NDA government was ruling gud at that point of tym ........nobody thought that in 2005 election congress can come back in power ...........but the efforts made by this lady "SONIA GANDHI" made it posible 4 the congress 2 came in power again..........if she had did it..........it shows that she is one who can change the forces against it..........so she can be considered as a leader who know wht 2 do 2 make things in ur favour......so she can be considered as a DIVA

hope u all in gud health..due to inevitable circumstances, i cudn't login MP fr loong time but am really surprised to see the thread alive... thanks a lot to all of you... now coming back to topic
ahaan, lot many gud opinions about sonia gandhi... yess, do agree suddenly she has come from the dark and as been posed as diva!! but don't u think there is a large media promotion that has really helped her becoming the one, doesn't congress encashing her on "gandhi" fame...the party still has the same ripples but rahul has got a sudden acceptance inspite of his many furious remarks... wat i feel is it is not as clear as it is shown,there is much to it...they ( congress people)know that rajiv gandhi was well supported and they have used the same emotional hook.. remember there were news on national daily and channels about how priyanka and rahul resemble him n so ....
fr me, she has been largely used fr her "surname" !!

hey... if we start comapring her with others ...somewhr we are diverting from the main line... i mean u talk laloo... he has other positiv pt... still he rules in railway... so everyone is gud at smthing...if she is better than some that doesn't mean she is best!!! for manmohan singh he is there only to use his brain for planning & development...he cannot play political games.. to ensure that he doesn't get disturbed,she takes care of all the political factors....its more like the junior bangs his head and provides solution and the 'boss' presents it!!

I think, she is a diva. Lets check a few facts about her
1. She belongs to Gandhi Family and recently Raul and Bianca, oops, Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi have declared that Gandhi family is synonymous to India. [Other indians are bastards may be]
2. She kicked out the PM chair for MMS and picked up another puppet as the 1st lady of India [Our own mrs President] and supported her, though Mr Kalam was still the deserving person for this chair. [She is a magician or a witch]
3. Why such a row, when 1st lady of India is willing to lie down in front of her and Mr. Prime Minister gives respect to her more than his own poistion. If they have no concerns about their self respect or respect of the nation.
4. I think we are taking her wrong she is a diva, she looks so beautiful in pics when she was young. She too bothered about our feelings [not my personal feelings okay] that she decided to leave all the power to leaders of indian origin. She is a kind hearted lady and poor too [1.some crores property declared]. She has provided good up brining to her children, she has given them two names [I read some post]. so they can manipulate their names whenever they want.
5. Have you ever seen any one from Gandhi family or even from Congress Leader squad, working as a laborer other than Rahul Gandhi. They have been taught to touch the heart of common Indians during elections and then kick out their butts. [sorry for language and grammatical mistakes, working with something else too. if any one have any suggestions, most welcome. But i love these people.

The main thing is that congress is still in her hands and she can manipulate it as she like. MMS is the cleanest card in her hand, having gr8 reputation and never having a single stain of corruption and hence, putting him fwd, instead of her will lead to her jai-jaikar.... Simple strategy!
Besides, it will also highlight her tyaag and accumulate accolades for her.
Even the Rai bareilly episode was on the same lines, showing to the people, how right she is, by covering her mistakes.
