Hi,
Finally,TechM saved the sinking ship.After the open offer,TechM was highest bidder and became the winner.But the interesting fact is that TechM quoted Rs.58/share for Satyam.Do you think it was a high value when Satyam books are still under clearance?Moreover even in the open market it was quoting only Rs.47+ .Even the bidders quoted only half of what TechM offered.There are still some legal cases pending in US against the company.So do you think that Satyam was overvalued?

-Deepak.

I do not think Satyam is over valued. Tech Mahindra would have done enough Market analysis to arrive at tis decisions. Unless they see such a potential they would not offer such value per share.

i dont think satyam is overvalued. bcoz it has list of big clients in its pocket. which may help the company to regain its position. plus in the post recession period business might go up for the company increasing the profitability.

satyyam cant be considered as been overvalued as it though has had "red "times but still a good human capital which if properly managed and guided can rehabilitate satyam to its former glory

oh yeah...it is............................................................................................................................................................:SugarwareZ-081::SugarwareZ-023:

With Satyam's annual revenues expected to decline and taking into account the liabilities, it might sound a bad deal but considering its client base and future course of action by TechMa, it sure is not overvalued.

i dont think that satyam is high value tech mahindra had a lot of market research since last 4 months they too appointed a research team for finding wethere it is feasibke to go for it or not
