Is our Bollywood a reason for water storage??????

Nowdays in every house if you go to see there are many people who are saving water. You will hear voices where in mothers are shouting to their kids “Please close off the tap. There is no water.” If you visit a chawl then there you will hear ladies fighting for water. We go by their side laughing thinking why are they fighting? But they have a reason behind their fighting and that is WATER. Water is a crucial need in our lives. We can’t imagine our lives without water.

Whenever there is a water shortage we blame the government, population or the BMC. BMC at times gets fingers for faults of theirs. When the government says there will be water storage due to lack of rains or some pipeline is broken we again say government is making excuses. It might be the truth. Has anyone blamed the BOLLYWOOD for wastage of water? But yes they are the ones who can be blamed for wastage of water. If you go to see statics there are many films in Bollywood who have wasted lack litres of water maybe just for one shot or for one song maybe. Here presenting you the statics

These movies have wasted water as if water is an unlimited resource. Karan Johar movie used 24 lakhs of water that could meet the requirements of around 27,000 people at the average BMC dole of 90 litres per person for four and half buckets. De Dana Dan affected around 93,000people while Tum Mile affected around 27,000 people. On other hand titanic used 450.000 for the whole film. If our bollywood continues to use water in such a way then India will be one of the biggest reason for global water storage. Mr India director Shekhar Kapur, who is currently directing Paani starring Hrithik Roshan, will soon launch a global water conservation project. While several Hollywood stars like Penelope Cruz, Cate Blanchett and Shia Labeouf are reportedly roped in, there’s not a single Bollywood representative for this cause. It’s high time we do something about this if we want to save water. We believe that management is there in every organization so our bollywood needs to learn water management.
