how many of you over here find MBA a good investment?

Quality determines the outcome! I hope it is understood!

Ultimately a hard workers with determined abilities will find MBA as good investment. I'm sure that not everyone will find MBA to be the best investment.

What is your view?

i have often found people finding mba a good investment but later on regretting over the same !! :SugarwareZ-158:

What is the point here? I mean if they find it a good investment first and later regret it. That means after the experience people will not find MBA as valuable as it is hyped!
 
Yes it is , for eg-if my dad puts me in IIM - college i will definatley secure a good placement with a excellent salary package .so i concluded in todays modern world MBA IS an good investment

Is the placement guaranteed?

And even if it is, then it's not enough to evaluate whether a investment is good or bad.

For example, if Facebook's CEO Mark Zuckerburg had considered MBA more important than his entrepreneurship career then he certainly wouldn't have achieved as much as he had done now.

So, there are many many variables to consider when evaluating whether something is worth the time and effort or not!

In the case of Zuckerburg, investment in MBA would have been a silly decision which would have only wasted his time and money to achieve much lesser!

ya agree to your point but it refers to be on individual basis in my opinion MBA is an good investment

That's what I mean. It should be evaluated on a personal basis rather than declaring that "MBA is good investment for all" or "MBA isn't good investment for all".

I agree to some extent. However, I believe that it depends more on your aim and abilities rather than the competency of the college or university you choose for your MBA.
 
i believe practical knowledge and presence of mind gives a way !!
i always believe "every obstacle is in your mind " so its you to find a way !
