Is management degree/ education really useful in the organisational working?

Well a common ans that i would get is :depends upon the brilliant ,innovative and creative mind of management so they posses higer degree than it professionals:

Of course, yes.

I have found the study of Economics extremely useful because the concepts I learnt there are revolutionary.

The principles of economics like:

"Trade makes everyone better off"
"There's nothing such as free lunch"
"Gains from trade are achieved from comparative advantage rather than absolute advantage."

etc.. etc are revolutionary and have very broad application.

For example: Trade makes everyone better off explains why we should engage in trade for certain goods rather than trying to produce them on our own to become independent.

It also explains why we should trade with foreign countries freely rather than imposing tariff or restrictions to control trade.

In both of the conditions above trading makes both the buyer and seller better off (not only a single party).

There are other subjects or literature in management which give us insight about the nature of the business organizations and how they make strategies. All this will help us if we want to start our own business or while doing the managerial jobs. Therefore, the knowledge we get from Management education will be very relevant in our work life.
