Humans have immense energy, world has seen the channelisation of this energy in the positive as well as in the negative direction..It is like gasoline..if stored in a proper container,it can transport you to miles and if spread aimlessly,it can cause an inferno..
Lets begin with the word "terrorism"...Whats the difference between a freedom fighter who laid/sacrificed their lives for the country to get liberated and the so called "terrorists" of today?? A terrorist organisation is a conglomeration of people with a set target in mind, their goals, mission and policies of work are well laid down (eg.If any one of us is caught, then he will immediately end up his life by consuming this cyanide capsule )..So,if freedom fighters were a conglomeration of people who wanted to liberate India, they had this goal in thier mind..Similarly, a terrorist group like "Al Qaeda" has thier goal which is wage war against all those who are anti Islamic viz.America and others who support America...Perfectly fine comparison uptil here..Now,looking at the "justification" of the "goal"..which is highly perception based thing to judge..what is right for one individual may be totally wrong for the other individual..What was right in the minds of freedom fighters who fought with bullets against British, was totally wrong for the Non Violent freedom fighters like Gandhji..so no one can judge this thing correctly..
The terrorist wont listen to any one's opinion of peace or such things..coz they are brutally engrossed with thier opinion which to them is their life..Hence no talks can be possible to "change their minds"....
Now the difference between our freedom fighters and the terrorists was the concept of humanity in war...killing of innocents was avoided to the best possible extent by our freedom strugglers..Bt the terror organisations are ravaging humanity and slaughtering people brutally..THis thing is highly unjustifiable, what all may the cause be..No matter how far the cause is appealing or seemingly correct to many, killing of humans like this is unjust whatever the case may be..
This was the fundamental reason of Gandhiji's opposition of violence of freedom of our country...
Hence people who are commiting such atrocious acts shall be convicted and then punished..There is no alternative of sparing them..because it would lead them to gain confidence in their acts...
As far as political parties are concerned, they are governed by one major objective "votes"..no matter what is the case all about a "Shilpa shetty controversy" or "Mohd Afzal shall be hanged " ..their objective is to garner votes, which they do by complicating things and muddling them on and on...this is the basic reason for which India is seen as a vulnerable country by these terrorists, who think of planning bomb blasts and then getting scot free easily...
hence the longer the time is wasted in the development of the case, the easier is for them to get through..
I believe,a law and not just a law but a law with "teeth" should be there which would state, that if a terrorist has been proven guilty,he shall be immediately hanged till death, and even the President's pardon cant help him..the judge appointed for the case shall also be of the prime repute and integrity, who shall execute the case as soon as possible...
Unless and until we are harsh on them, terrorism cant have a solution for India atleast...
