Is India losing its Identity in the name of Westernisation

@cat xavi

"Westernization' if at all, is just a minor contributor to the all-round erasure that's happening. Cultures evolve. Sometimes for the worse. Often for the better.

atleast u accept dat westernization a contributor(reason).....my view is also same.....jst da difference is

westernization is a major contributor.....in my view........

i refer culture 2 ethics.....

wat all u have given r correct but atleast dey remain 2 b a part of indian culture whether gujrati r marati.....

for eg:- IN AP v have 3 regions RAYALASEEMA, TELANGANA, ANDHRA..... people in these 3 regions celebrate festivals with 3 different names only wid some differences still they r celebrating da same......though their traditions r different but their ethics n beliefs r same.....

our INDIAN culture a mixture of many......still have some basic ethics....which shdnt b changed under da name of westernization r any..........

Of Course...indian identity has always been impacted by other cultures...for eg. mughals, britishers have brought in their culture...so every thing changes and one must one categorize it as bad or good...

India is no doubt in pace with the western culture but it is not losing its identity.
India is still considered as one of the country with best traditional culture.

countries of west are adapting our culture........isn't it good????

Well i am saying that it is going to be a complete destruction of the modern society but somehow, this blending of cultures has triggered a extensive space in society. The young generation are totally away from the feel of our primary Indian values and culture. This is exactly what i am trying to say today. There must be a feeling of basic Indian native cultures and values developed in children right from the actual starting point.
