Hi Friends,

In the light of the recent racial controversies against the world champions Australia i the tour down under....The Board of Cricket Control in India has decided to appeal for a complete ban on sledging from international cricket.....

Have they lost their senses....what is the logic behind this absurd demand god only knows...maybe this might also bring some more cash flow to BCCI...which is already overflowing:SugarwareZ-191: ......thanks to IPL......

In my opinion the game should be played in the right spirit....The players who represent the country should be sensible enough not to cross the lines.....Things do happen in the middle out there...but a complete ban will remove the flavor from the game..........

Have your say on this..........

yes as the indians were not able to handle the situation in australia and because india resuts for over 70% of de revenue in de field so i think india is tryin to do too much all at the same time..

Controlling the 'sledging' isn't easy bcoz defining what is sledging itself might be tricky. It might lead to players finding ways to game the system. So at that time what wud ICC do---bug the whole ground ?.
Let the cricket take prominence and let --may be a stricter 'general' code of conduct be defined...BTW we are talking of mind games here not physical tackles are involved ..hence for me no red cards needed in cricket..!
what say..?
