IPL ruining youngsters

I think IPL has decreases the importance of cricket. It is kind of junk food that all youngsters are looking for, but they will never get the place of Sachin, because he had done most hard practices to reach this stage. Nobody can achieve it through such short span matches.
 
s it is, ipl is like fast food,whch is bad for health, test match is the true essence of cricket and has all aspects of life especially patience and perseverence
 
I agree . The quick money and publicity makes these young players celebrities and with the rise of a celebrity the cricketer whiten takes a backseat
 
I am a test cricket fan, and I dont like what IPL has done to the world of cricket, ppl are retiring early so that they can play for their own clubs rather than country, offcourse they are paid more at club level, its hunger to earn more u cant blame them - as they need to put food on their familys table, but i still feel that test cricket is the real cricket game.
 
see no one have time to 5-6 rs for watching a cricket on T.V.
so think in broder way, we dont have time to go bank for withdrawal of money so simply to save time ATM is used.
similar way they found out the easy way to save our time u can watch your favorte cricketr playing on T.V.
 
IPL gives quick fame n money to young lads which in turn can ruin their future by getting carried away wid fame n money
 
say what you want, but anyone can take a risk in a 20 over game its either hit or miss.. its not a game i lokk at it as a entertainment show....with dancers around, the real test of a player can only come into light when you play a game over 5 days, it shows how good you really are...and how skilled you are.
 
yupp...but it is creating a very good infrastructure in india which will definitely help youth interested in pursuing cricket..however,criteria of choosing a player should be kept test matches as test match is the best way to 'test' a player..!
