Its really sad for the indian audience...but the govenment should have done something for it....rather each party is busy in politicising this ipl issue...!!!
IPL has now become Indian Politician League. Its a sad fact that IPL is not happening in India. At the sametime,it is gud to hear that we can cheer our players thru TV atleast rather than missing the league.
Ppl minor correction..IPL's not shifting to england..it's actually shifting to South Africa..The hotels are cheaper, the stadiums are cheaper, there isn't any ICC interference and neither is there any broadcasting problem..
IPL is shifting to england but it will nt the same as it was the case last year it will lack the world's best crowd and the madness. This time it looks like the IPL will nt be too happening the craze is nt there like bfr.....
I think it is bad for the Indian Public ... they lose the live entertainment ... but then i think that is the only feasible way of continuing the series ... because with the terrorism threats, players do not feel safe playing in the subcontinent.
Security "assurances" will never be enough now.
whether IPL shifts to some other country or it remains in India, its complete goal is to entertain the public. And IPL is basically a TV show therefore it must not affect the fan following in India too. Shifting IPL to south africa is no doubt a good decision at the time of elections as security is always a first priority.
