iOS 7 vs Kitkat 4.4

The technological world is getting more advanced and lot of improvements have been done in these past years.

We need to stay in touch with each other and the most common mode of today’s communication is our Smartphones. There is a continuous race between smartphone companies to provide best O.S to the user.

Andriod has launched their latest O.S. KitKat 4. 4 and Apple has launched their iOS7

The question we are left wondering is which of these major updates are more user-friendly, most innovated.!!!

Both update brought lot of improvements and latest features.

Android’s KitKat 4.4

After the success of Androids Jellybean, Android has come up with their new update KitKat 4.4.Firstly, KitKat 4.4 has launched on Google’s Nexus series and the update for the other phones is going to release soon.

KitKat 4.4 takes system performance to very high level by optimizing memory. The touchscreen responds faster and more accurately than ever before. This means that you can listen to music while browsing the web. From a single view, users can access media from several different storage locations including cloud services and many other apps. SMS is now integrated with Hangouts with support for animated GIFs. We can speak “Ok, Google” directly from the home screen to search Google.

Apple’s IOS 7

Apple came up with idea of releasing iOS7 after the success of their IOS6.The look Apple has given to their iOS7 is somewhat similar to Android interface. iOS 7 has new features like Control Centre, which makes the O.S. easy to use & AirDrop which allow iOS users to quickly share photos and content with those around them. The major change apple has given to their iOS7 is change in their Notification bar. Apple has also introduced iTunes Radio. The Photos application was given the ability to be sorted by years. collections, moments, intelligently grouped sets of related photos, based on time and location.

By sheer size and number of feature, iOS7 wins the race. The change log is unbelievably long, and the operating system looks quite different from before.

In terms of innovative changes, Android’s KitKat 4.4 has an undeniable advantage. Google has added very useful features such as new NFC capabilities, printing framework, low-power sensor support, native screen recording, support for RTL (right-to-left, for international users) layouts, new Bluetooth profiles, infrared support, and a handful of other features that not only improve the usability of the platform but also put distance between it and its competitors.

The world of smartphone operating systems is indeed a continuous race, with both Android and Apple consistently pushing out updates to enhance user experience.1 At the time of their respective launches, Android's KitKat 4.4 (released October 31, 2013) and Apple's iOS 7 (released September 18, 2013) represented significant strides for each platform.2

Here's a breakdown of their user-friendliness and innovations based on the provided text:
