A researcher must find the problem and formulate it to so that it becomes susceptible to research. Like a medical doctor, a researcher must examine all the symptoms( observed by him) concerning a problem before he diagnose correctly.

In this project we use exploratory research design and for the data collection fill up the questionnaire from companies going for their website promotion, survey of the market.

After research problem we have identified and decided which type of research has to be gone. Now we have to organize a field survey to collect the data.

Respondent were very much aware about the VAS (Value Added Services) of SIFY. Out of 100 respondent 20% respondent know only Railway ticketing facility is available at SIFY cafes, 4% respondent know about bus Ticketing, 13% respondent aware about online education, 6% respondent know about online bill payment and 57% say these all facilities are provided by SIFY cafes.

According to survey 62% respondent has been rated “Very good” to services provided by SIFY and 38% respondent think service provided by other cafes is better than SIFY.
FINDINGS
? With my research in Lucknow, I came to know large no. Of people are very much aware about SIFY cafes and they prefer to visit SIFY cafes. ? Customers are tending towards Easily availability of cafes, rate of net accessing, speed and brand. ? VAS products of SIFY make SIFY different from other cafes because no other café provides these types of services. ? Most of the customers are not satisfied with the rate of SIFY cafes. They think that rate of SIFY cafes are too high in comparison of other cafes. ? Large number of customers thinks SIFY provides fastest net speed among all cafes. ? Sometimes Customers face technical problem while accessing net. ? Some customers think coupon system in SIFY cafes is little bit complicated. ? If we compare SIFY cafes with other cafes, SIFY is better in field of Speed, Ambiance and Privacy. But in other fields like –Rate, Assistance by café host other cafes are better than SIFY.
CONCLUSION
After completing the entire project on “Survey And Revival Of Closed Cafes” I came to Know about reasons of closure of SIFY cafes, awareness of SIFY cafes among people and which parts of SIFY need to improve. According to survey majority of respondents are well aware about SIFY, they are also well known about the VAS provided by SIFY. But due to some problem in SIFY services large no. Of customers are not satisfied to SIFY.Net surfing rate of SIFY cafes is high in comparison of other cafes, SIFY users also face technical or login problems. Customers want improvements in these areas of SIFY. They also told their expectations from SIFY. so that customers will be happy and closed cafes can revive. Apart from that, I was lucky to have an opportunity to learn the various functions of the sections of the Marketing department. Overall, it was an enriching and learning experience to work on this project.
SUGGESTIONS/ RECOMMENDATIONS
? Most of the customers says that rate of SIFY cafes are very high. In other cafes Rate of surfing net is 10 to 15 Rs./hour but in SIFY cafes this rate is 15 to 20 Rs. So customers says SIFY should reduce net accessing rate So that SIFY will get more customers. So my research says SIFY should reduce net accessing rate. ? Some customers also don’t like coupon system of SIFY cafes. It is very complicated. Like other cafes SIFY should also provide system of without coupon net access. Because if any customer want to access net for ½ an hour only and if owner has only 1 hour coupon customer will not be able to access the net. So SIFY should think about it. ? Some customers face technical problem like-login problem. So SIFY should also concentrate on it. SIFY should make registration process little bit easy because to open new or reopen café registration process is too complex. And to open a new account in SIFY takes more time than other cafes. So SIFY should try to solve this problem. ? According to some customers speed should be more faster. So SIFY can work on it. ? CRM (Customer Relationship management) plays very important role in any business/ market. Café host should be customer friendly. And SIFY tries to make good and long term relationship with customers. ? My project title is “Survey and revival of closed cafes”. So by working on these suggestions we can stop cafes to be close. And those cafes, which have been closed, can also be reopen by concerning on these suggestions.

Respondent were very much aware about the VAS (Value Added Services) of SIFY. Out of 100 respondent 20% respondent know only Railway ticketing facility is available at SIFY cafes, 4% respondent know about bus Ticketing, 13% respondent aware about online education, 6% respondent know about online bill payment and 57% say these all facilities are provided by SIFY cafes.

FINDINGS
? With my research in Lucknow, I came to know large no. Of people are very much aware about SIFY cafes and they prefer to visit SIFY cafes. ? Customers are tending towards Easily availability of cafes, rate of net accessing, speed and brand. ? VAS products of SIFY make SIFY different from other cafes because no other café provides these types of services. ? Most of the customers are not satisfied with the rate of SIFY cafes. They think that rate of SIFY cafes are too high in comparison of other cafes. ? Large number of customers thinks SIFY provides fastest net speed among all cafes. ? Sometimes Customers face technical problem while accessing net. ? Some customers think coupon system in SIFY cafes is little bit complicated. ? If we compare SIFY cafes with other cafes, SIFY is better in field of Speed, Ambiance and Privacy. But in other fields like –Rate, Assistance by café host other cafes are better than SIFY.
CONCLUSION
After completing the entire project on “Survey And Revival Of Closed Cafes” I came to Know about reasons of closure of SIFY cafes, awareness of SIFY cafes among people and which parts of SIFY need to improve. According to survey majority of respondents are well aware about SIFY, they are also well known about the VAS provided by SIFY. But due to some problem in SIFY services large no. Of customers are not satisfied to SIFY.Net surfing rate of SIFY cafes is high in comparison of other cafes, SIFY users also face technical or login problems. Customers want improvements in these areas of SIFY. They also told their expectations from SIFY. so that customers will be happy and closed cafes can revive. Apart from that, I was lucky to have an opportunity to learn the various functions of the sections of the Marketing department. Overall, it was an enriching and learning experience to work on this project.
SUGGESTIONS/ RECOMMENDATIONS
? Most of the customers says that rate of SIFY cafes are very high. In other cafes Rate of surfing net is 10 to 15 Rs./hour but in SIFY cafes this rate is 15 to 20 Rs. So customers says SIFY should reduce net accessing rate So that SIFY will get more customers. So my research says SIFY should reduce net accessing rate. ? Some customers also don’t like coupon system of SIFY cafes. It is very complicated. Like other cafes SIFY should also provide system of without coupon net access. Because if any customer want to access net for ½ an hour only and if owner has only 1 hour coupon customer will not be able to access the net. So SIFY should think about it. ? Some customers face technical problem like-login problem. So SIFY should also concentrate on it. SIFY should make registration process little bit easy because to open new or reopen café registration process is too complex. And to open a new account in SIFY takes more time than other cafes. So SIFY should try to solve this problem. ? According to some customers speed should be more faster. So SIFY can work on it. ? CRM (Customer Relationship management) plays very important role in any business/ market. Café host should be customer friendly. And SIFY tries to make good and long term relationship with customers. ? My project title is “Survey and revival of closed cafes”. So by working on these suggestions we can stop cafes to be close. And those cafes, which have been closed, can also be reopen by concerning on these suggestions.
