Consistently, Gujarat celebrates more than 2,000 celebrations. The International Kite Festival (Uttarayan) is viewed as one of the greatest celebrations celebrated. Months before the celebration, homes in Gujarat start to make kites for the celebration.
The 27th release of the well known International Kite Festival to be held over four urban areas in Gujarat will kickstart in Vadodara from today and hence make a trip to Rajkot, Bhavnagar and Surat locale of the state.
22 Kite fliers from diverse nations and conditions of India will take part in International Kite celebration to be held at Tapi River front in the city. This celebration is composed mutually by state government and tourism branch of the state.
Vadodara Municipal Corporation and the Vadodara District Collectorate have teamed up with Gujarat Tourism to lead this occasion at Navlakhi compound spread in 700 sections of land place where there is Royal Lakshmi Vilas royal residence here.
