This powerful critical innovation workshop will help you unleash the power of your thinking potential. Participants will gain the critical thinking skills you need to become a more effective problem solver, decision maker, communicator and manager. By learning how to systemise the process of innovation, you’ll be able to think strategically, see the bigger picture and consider all sides of an issue - everything you need to become a better problem solver and an innovator. This workshop is one more step forward by the Centre for Social Entrepreneurship in transforming society with the powerful tools of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
What is Systematic Innovation?
Systematic Innovation is a powerful approach for identifying break through opportunities and envisioning innovative solutions through immersive experience with customers. Design thinking can be applied to develop new products and services, overhaul existing business processes and launch new businesses. It involves multi-disciplinary teams from cross functional areas to go through an immersive process of empathizing with the customers, defining a challenge, ideating creatively, iterating the solutions rapidly with customer feedback and developing a business model for implementation.

The Practical Challenge
Around 25 participant from different colleges participated in the workshop. In workshop we learn and apply systematic innovation process by immersing themselves in a realistic challenge related to livelihood. Are there ways to help them improve their livelihood? Our task is to find innovative solutions.
We worked in small groups to visit locations in and around the TISS campus to obtain insights and to ideate, prototype mock-up solutions and obtain customer feedback on their early solutions. The outcome at the end of the workshop was presented as a solution.
Social project chossen by different teams are welfare of security gaurd, small vendors, grocery stores owners and housekeeping staff. Participant using systematic approach first find out the problem (Define Phase). After that through brainstroming and from experince every team give solution for the chossen problem.
This workshop give me chance to wide my networkt and different view to see oppertunities in small things.
