Yes Infy is indeed pretty hard and fast with work ethics. These are serious offenses, but I know of guy who has been terminated from Infosys just because he claimed some extra bucks on a travel trip. He was terminated after an enquiry with the cab services he had used. On the professional front he was one of their best, he escalted to the post of PM in a pretty short duration and would have earned the company lacs of Rupees from the projects he has worked on.
Many people wouldn't care but for an organization Discipline comes ahead of Competency.
