influence of 3 idiots on education system

I really don't think so.because had it been the case then rang de basanti would have also done something to our political systems or to the youth...as it was rightly said-"ghar ki safaii me ane haath gande kon kare.!!!"

It was a gud movie... no doubt... but is it possible to implement in real life is d big question.... Its not that I am against it,but it will take time to digest in...

Movie was awesome but implementation or bringin change in our education system is nt possible. Bcoz d planners r nt d youth n der's a lot of difference b\w planning n implementation.

hey i think its each to its own yaar there have been so many movies reports books written on it but that wont really make a difference in the education system but ya we can definitely expect a change in the approach of the parents for studies.

the film was good....but i don't think that it will have an impact in the education system of our country....moreover it is impractical to implement it

movie seriously rocked but i guess its difficult to implement coz decisions are not taken by viewing a movie............................................

The movie was great, but it can hardly effect the students of today, i mean the guy advocating the "study to enjoy" theme was a topper, had his friends become any better by the end of 4th year, maybe the logic can be given a thought but since that did not happen, no way!

give ur views of how 3 idiots can help in bringing about change in the education system

Question is not whether it can influence our education system but rather we should think how can it improve our education system !!!

Movie has so so so many good things for individuals to learn from.

1) Taking a career of your choice.
2) Showing your energy, enthusiasm, passion towards that career
3) Believe in yourself, self-confidence (Keep reciting 'aal iz well')
4) Making atleast 2 idiot friends in life :)

Education system can be improved on two factors which the movie stresses upon-

1) Entrepreneurship.
Colleges n universities teach us in a manner so that we can get good jobs in MNCs (whether in India or abroad).
Only few of us think about starting our own venture. We(including our parents) are more inclined towards getting a Good Job in a good company with a high package after our studies.

So i think this is the area where institutes can certainly put more focus n improve upon.

2) Colleges(specially engineering) are mostly exam driven and not knowledge driven. In majority colleges proffesors are only not available for teaching. Some lack basic infrastructure.
Engineering students are expected to rattofi more in exams n vomit it in papers.

I think engineering course could include atleast 1 year of compulsory internship out of 4yrs to improve students skills n to fuel up their interest in engineering projects.
Companies also need to support the students in such a case.

My proff once said, 'Real knowledge is what we retain after our examinations'.

There is a lot that can be done. Whether it will be done is not in our hands.

uptil then keep saying ALL IS WELL :)

A superb movie.. It makes us think the need to apply a lot of things to our real life.. But I don't think that each youth in our country would have a strong inclination towards one thing (like Aamir had for Machines).. Yes one message is very strong... do what you love and work doesn't seem like work.. it becomes fun.. But just think of applying such thing to your own life.. I am sure it would shake you and you might get a feeling that "its not practical in my case".. I think it might take a generation or two to change the thinking..

The movie was good :clap2:...but its real hard to implement all that was shown in the movie... the only thing worth was aal izz well.... dats it :)

Totally Agreed,
The entire education system must be organized from the school itself and focus must be given to practical learning rather than theory.

More than the education system, the perceptions of we, the students hv 2 change.. Understanding a concept is much more important then blindly mugging up definitions... first let us change the way we look at education

the movie definitely has a message for everybody not just students but for the entire education system and also for the parents. practical knowledge is what we retain even after the completion of our course. we may not remember what we by hearted in an exam but we will definitely remember a project that we may have done.

Education system is not going to change due to a 3 hours movie. I like Mr Kapil Sibal's (HRD Minister) idea to have one common exams and syllabus for all over country. It would be huge transformation. State boards, CBSE and ISCE and many more exam patterns, resulting in bias system and excess competition. All factor depends on the quality and same demands price. To decrease illiteracy ratio and to cope up with fierce competition cannot go parallel.
