1st of Feb, it was very cold out, we all were very eager and anxious about the T20 match, we thought that the bad blood of loosing out to Aussies in test would be calm down here with our Youth force taking over to the aussie. 2.pm and we were in our office, we on our radio sets , the tossed the coin and Dhoni, the Indian youth cricketers representative captain won the toss and elected to bat knowing the fact that the are more good in chasing in t20 matches, someone at my back said “iskke baal ke saath iski akul bhi gayi lugta hai” (laughter) and other one said “ki Dhoni ka dimaag bhi computer se tej chulta hai” he took the right decision. And the match started, first over and the commentator said aur yeh shewag out, first of all i forget to tell you that the commentatory was in hindi that also as if its a laughter challenge going on. AS soon as shewag got out i heard everyone saying “is saale ko kyoon lete hain puta nahin, lugta hai maa ka phone aaya hoga, isliye bhaagna hi bhul gaya lol”. And suddenly we heard another batsman getting out, all our Indian batsman came there stand there and went away, but Pathan was standing there like a rock of Gibraltor, when suddenly a comet hit the rock and it collapsed, with India just managing to make one more run than the lowest till now in t20 i.e. 75 , the lowest till now is by kenya 74.
Some persons were still positive ki India hi jeetegi. And than aussies came to bat with fours and sixes all over the ground the blew the Indian side like a pack of cards. Aussie won and we already had our radio sets and TVs off having some snacks and making fun of Dhoni and his boys, than a man asked” kyoon kya hua tere Dhoni ke computer waale dimaag ko?” and he replied ” aree kuch nahin yaar computer main virus lug gaya hai, Deepika ka hahahahaha and there were laughter all around, so this is how we had a bad and a good day hearing T20, the main thing of this match was the pet names which aussies were wearing , i think they have started a new trend lets see if this trend catches up.
I was wondering , just imagine if Indian T20 champions wore the pet names, what would the be?
Dhoni: Baal Baal bache
