The social networking site has opened its office at Hyderabad, to recruit students for its company back in the United States. Facebook has offered up to $85,000 (approximately Rs 38 lakh) in yearly salaries to students of Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, during placements this year. The interviewing part of the students will be conducted through skype, and the ones who get shortlisted will face the questions with HR managers on skype from the company’s in US. This kind of recruitment is not new, but this kind of activity has been taken as new as far as Facebook is concerned.
