Structure of Indian Navy Sailors Direct Entry Recruitment Exam
The recruitment of the candidates for the Sailors post in Navy is mainly on the basis of a written test and Physical Fitness Test. Those who pass the Physical test are invited for the written test. In the written test the questions are asked from four different sections. It includes questions from the subjects of English, General Knowledge, Science and Mathematics. The time given for completing the exam will be of one hour. The marks awarded for the exam is 200 marks. Those who pass the written test will have to attend for the medical test. The candidates who qualify on all the tests will be selected for joining Indian Navy Force.
Syllabus for Indian Navy Sailors Direct Entry Recruitment Exam
The Physical tests comprises of the following
One Mile (1.6 km) run to be completed in 7 minutes
20 sit ups
10 push ups
The written test consists of questions from four areas. The questions are expected from the plus two level standards.
