Indian Management Style versus Western Management Philosophy

Given the present scenario that is unfolding what do you think is the best line of approach for Indian Business Managers, modify their methods to go ahead or disregard the same and adopt western philosophy.

I'm not certain as yet. Indian management seems to be failing these days. People are more concerned about money than relationships which is the foundation of life. But to each his own. Companies have to realize what their vision is. If the vision is humanitarian, become a TATA. If the vision is pure profits, become a Reliance.

Sorry..Just read the post in correctly..
"Indian management study" vs "Foreign Management Studies".
Tata though being highly ethical never shy away from profit venture..Their aggressive though ethical approach help them to earn better welfare with clients and better profit
 
I would agree with Ankit, some of our business leaders have shown their resolve to be ethical even in tough times and have set a separate culture to follow.
 
I firmly believe that the management idiology that an organisation carries has ultimately the bearings of the value system of its promoter or promoters. Everybody would like to carry his cart his own way, in his own directions & everybody necessarily should be free to to that.

As Indians, We strongly believe in value systems, and companies like Infosys, dose prove that there is no limit to what can be acheived if we move out with right attitudes with not only personal concerns but overall concerns.

Any work, idea, intent based on good & great value system, having prospective perspective for customers, employees, society is sure to be a long run success. Ultimately the essence of life is to service ourselves, our families, society, nation & the world at large. Everybody loves to work & contribute his share as it gives the ultimate satisfaction. hence the liberal & family style of management is sure to work anywhere in the world, UNDOUBTEDLY.
