It is a very good career option and once you are employed all you have to do is follow your commander and many times go to war fields as an Officer who leads his own Battalion.
Serving in Indian Army is a great proud thing for our country. All you need is a very fit body for the Indian Army. You get awards from the President of India for killing many people from guns or tactical experience. People enjoy after coming in Army and the only disadvantage being the salary.
It is a very good career option and once you are employed all you have to do is follow your commander and many times go to war fields as an Officer who leads his own Battalion.

According to my point of view INDIAN ARMY is one of the greatest suitable place to serve for our nation. I think when you are a part of Indian army then you are a complete person. It will be glad to us when we do something for our country.
You can learn responsibility, discipline from Indian army. You also feel proud by providing security to your motherland.
Being a part of INDIAN ARMY is not that much easy but when you get this opportunity you are a part of a great force.

The Armed Forces comprise three arms or services, that of the Army, Navy and Air Force. Apart from defending the borders from external threats, the Armed Forces are often involved in humanitarian missions like the UN Peacekeeping forces and in disaster management. In the event of earthquakes, floods or avalanches, the Army, Navy and Air Force are the first to reach the disaster-prone areas for search and rescue missions. In the recent tsunami disaster, the Indian Navy did yeomen service in sending its ships and its men with food and medicines to Sri Lanka for relief operations.

The career opportunity available with Indian Army is enormous. Nowhere else you will get such phenomenal opportunities to constantly upgrade your skills....Moreover, the army recruits candidates both for its technical and non-technical branches.

its proud to work for the indian army but family support is going to be less as nobody likes to lose their dear ones so easily
