hi guys india less corrupt then neighbours well the numbers say that what do you feel is india actually a less corrupt country or are the number just giving us wrong information.well if unaware what i am talking about this debate is with referance to a current survey report published in a newspaper which says that
India is in a better position than its neighbors, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh when it comes to correction. The latest CPI index ranks India on number 84 out of 180, where the least corrupt is at number one. Pakistan and Bangladesh is ranked at 139, while Sri Lanka is ranked at 97. Only neighboring country doing better than India is China, which is ranked at 79.
according to the latest "Transparency International's 2009 Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI)."

well to begin it is hard to attain a well defined measure or index for corruption as its scale can be disguised easily by a large and growing economy....thereby we might be economically better off than our neighbours (in high probability less corrupt...using the logic of market efficiency but still..) for argument sake could be as corrupt as them

Our population is so huge tht fraction of population which is corrupted is many times more than few country's population/...!
strange bt true..!
