The village industries environment being considerably competitive with resource rich players in the organized sector including the MNCs, the quality standards can scarcely be ignored. Adequately equipped laboratories play a vital role. The following infrastructure came up during the year2005- 06.
I. Bhagyanagar Khadi Samiti, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh-Rs. 1.12 lacs for testing snaps.
II. Kannur Sarvodaya Sangh, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala-Rs. 0.71 lacs for honey products.
III. Kerala State Beekeepers Association, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerela- Rs. 0.87 lacs for honey products.
