VULTURES’ NEST: the Next Generation Investor’s Pitch
VN is a three phase event:
1. The first phase is online submission of the questionnaire by the start-ups. 15 entries will be shortlisted by a panel of
investors for the final closed-room pitching.
2. The second phase comprises of mentoring, where these top 15 teams will be mentored on “pitching tactics” for
funding from a VC.
3. The third and final phase would be held at E-Summit (6th Feb, 2011),IIT Bombay wherein the start-ups will be required to present their final pitch in their quest for funding by the VCs.

Each networking lounge will have 3-4 eminent speakers from the sector that the Lounge is dedicated
to. They will speak on the various latest developments in the sectors, broadly covering the following
areas:
1) Latest developments in the sector
2) Upcoming opportunities
3) Future potential of the sector
4) Perception of customers about the sector
5) Message to participants who want to pursue entrepreneurship in this sector
There will be dedicated Networking Lounges for the following sectors:

INNOVATION REDEFINED : The Start Up Expo
The format is as mentioned below:
1. Speaking Opportunity:
Each of the Start Ups will be given a time slot of 15-20 minutes to speak about their product
and their start up. They are free to use audio-visuals, presentations, etc. to help in the same.
2. Exhibition:
Following the on-stage presentation, the start ups will be allotted a kiosk each, where they
can display their products for the visiting audience.
Interested visitors can network with the start ups of their liking.
3. Media and Television Coverage:
E-Summit sees participation by a large number of journalists from various leading
newspapers in the country. Also , national business news channel ET Now is the partner for
the Summit and will be sending in a Team for the coverage. This gives start ups a great
opportunity to create media interest and visibility.
4. Special Passes:
Also, start ups who have expressed interest in being part of the start up expo, but are not
selected, will be given discounted/free passes for The Entrepreneurship Summit .
