Hi,
A recent study says that IIM/IITs are CEO factories. Its is good to hear that.I have given the link at the end of this write-up.The study doesn't cover huv many entreprenuers both the instis have generated which is smeting to be proud of.The study clearly says the instis are serving as ladder for persons who wants to make money rather than create business for ppl.Do you agree to my point?

I quite agree to the perspective. I've personally interacted with a lot of people from IIM and the point that strikingly comes out is the spirit and zest for helping businesses or creating this world a better place.

For them its not about making zillions but about adding value to this world and creating a difference.

We need to recognise the fact that bright youngsters come out of IIMs and IITs but what is their exposure level. The corporates that appoint them in high positions with loads of money actually take a risk. It is a risk in that, the inexperienced professional can run the company to irretrievable loss. History has it that professional sans experience has ruined business. However, they need to be groomed and should start from lower middle level, made to study the business in greater detail and improve the working from that level and move forward. The advantage of such a deployment is many to the corporate. Paying huge salary and benefits plus putting at the top without life time exposure is actually a potential loss to the hiring corporate who loose out the chance of making use of these youngsters from lowever level.

People opting IIM/IIT only to get High paying jobs quickly. I had not seen many no of IIM/IIT ians contesting elections to work for the people. Not many no of IIM/IIT ians ready to start their own companies.

They just want to be work in some established companies
