IIM Calcutta wrapped up its summer placements this Friday by successfully securing internships for 460+ students enrolled in the first year of its management program. The summer placement process began on 5th November and lasted 4 days till 9th November with a day-break in between. After the final placements in Feb 2012, this is the second time in a row that the placements are getting completed in 4 days. [/b]

This is a historic achievement, considering that the batch of 460+ is the largest in the history of IIMs. Several changes were introduced into the process this year – shifting from a spot offer to multiple offer system, with the purpose of helping students choose the right profiles.[/b]
