IIM Ahmedabad, March 07, 2014: on the occasion of International Women's Day, students from various institutions within the city will get an opportunity to interact with eminent leaders in a panel discussion on "Women Leadership: The Way Ahead". Apart from IIM Ahmedabad, students from IIT Gandhinagar, NID, Nirma University and DAIICT will take part in this panel discussion which is an open event for college students. The session will be moderated by Prof. Ajay Pandey, Dean (Faculty) at IIMA.
The panellists of this discussion are successful women leaders from the world of business and education. Geeta Goradia, great-grandniece of Mahatma Gandhi and Managing Director of Jewel Consumer Care, Parul Mehta, co-founder and COO of Motif Inc., and Akanksha Thakore Srikrishnan, Founder of Ripple Effect, will be interacting with the students as panellists for this event.
This event is organized by The Women Leadership Society of IIM Ahmedabad, a student-run organization started in 2013. It aims at developing and supporting women leadership within the IIM A community through continuous and engaging dialogue with women leaders across the country.
