There will be no preliminary round for any of the three events.
Only one single performance to be judged.
Props like knives, animals, fire or any hazardous material etc strictly not allowed.
The Couple Dance
Mesmerize the audience with your sizzling chemistry and innovative props…. A deadly combination to conquer the stage…..What are you waiting for????
- Competition open only for collegiate students
- Max 5 minute performance
- Two girls/ two boys allowed
- Both participants from different colleges permissible
- Bring your own props and music CD. Also, keep a backup of the music CD in case one format does not work.
- Max one more person allowed to help with lights and music or set up
The Solo Dance
A place for a maverick. A loner. Someone who wants to be a superstar. Someone who wants to feel unrestrained. We present a chance to be all of this. Be your favourite superstar (Quite literally). Forget about synchronization and formation. Remember, it’s always solo at the top. Be prepared.
- Competition open only for collegiate students
- No bar on genre/style
- Max 5 min performance
- Music CD to be brought by the participant (also with backup)
- Max one more person allowed to help with lights and music or set up
The Street Dance
Getting bored with the typical dances…..come over to the Streets of WIMWI……to improvise….. express yourself….and have a face-off!!
Time to let it go……. For those mavericks who shun dance studios, here is an opportunity to express your unique style…. Just your team and the crowd on all sides….. bring it on Folks!!!
- Competition open only for collegiate students
- Maximum number of people in a team can be 8
- Solo performances not allowed
- Props and music to be arranged by the teams
- One extra person in production team, to handle lights, props and music, allowed
- People from different colleges allowed
