IIFT 2011 is the entrance exam which will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2011 for the admission to IIFT Delhi and Kolkata in the academic year 2012-14. The registration process has got over on Monday, September 5, 2011.

IIFT entrance exam can be considered to be quite tough. The exam can throw surprise to you at any point of time. According to last year’s paper, the number of questions was 135. The duration of the paper is two hours. There are four sections in the paper, Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning and General Awareness. The paper pattern was considered to be lengthy and the difficulty level was moderate to tough.

SNAP 2011
SNAP is the entrance exam for the 17 institutes of Symbiosis International University. The SNAP 2011 exam will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2011. The registration process is still going on and if you have still not registered you should do it by Wednesday, November 23, 2011.

The difficulty level of the exam is rated to be easy to moderate. There are 150 questions in SNAP 2010 exam and the duration is two hours.

SNAP is a180 marks test. The four sections of the test were: General English, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency, General Awareness, and Analytical & Logical Reasoning. There were no sectional cut off in SNAP 2010. The negative marking scheme was 0.25 for one mark questions and 0.5 marks for two mark questions.

XAT 2012
XAT is the MBA entrance exam conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur. XAT 2012 will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2012. The registration process is currently going on and it will be over on Wednesday, November 30, 2011. The XAT 2012 scores will accepted by 101 B-schools across India.

In XAT 2011 exam, there were 101 questions. The number of sections is three, which are Verbal & Logical Ability, Quantitative Ability & Decision Making and Analytical Reasoning & Decision Making. The duration is two hours and 20 minutes. The last 20 minutes is for the Analytical Caselet (earlier called Essay Writing), which was provided at the end of the main exam. The difficulty level was very tough.

MAT December 2011
Management Aptitude Test or MAT is conducted by All India Institute of Management. The test is held four times a year and the last MAT of the year 2011 will be held on December 4, 2011 for the paper pencil pattern and from Sunday, December 4, 2011 onwards and the computer based MAT will be held from Saturday, December 10, 2011 onwards.

The difficulty level of MAT is generally easy to moderate. The duration of the exam is 2.5 hours. There are five sections in the exam with 40 questions in each section. The sections are Language Comprehension, Data Analysis & Sufficiency, Intelligence & Critical Reasoning, Mathematical Skills and Indian & Global Environment.

IBSAT 2011
IBSAT 2011 is the entrance exam for the ICFAI Business School for the academic year 2012-14. The exam will be held on Saturday, December 24, 2011. The registration process is still going on for the IBSAT 2011 exam. The last day to register is Thursday, December 8, 2011.

The duration of the exam is two hours. The paper has 125 questions distributed amongst four sections. These four sections are English Usage, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability and Data Sufficiency and Data Interpretation. The overall difficulty level of the paper was Moderate.
