Scotland have taken previous Bangladesh mentor Shane Jurgensen on board for an one-match bargain – Thursday's represent the deciding moment World Cup conflict against the Asian side.
Australian Jurgensen quit as Bangladesh mentor a year ago yet was in the New Zealand town of Nelson as leader of the Fiji Under-19 group when the Scots came calling.
Scotland, with three thrashings in three diversions so far at the World Cup, need to beat Bangladesh at the Saxton Oval to have any trust of crushing into the quarter-finals.
"The Scotland mentor and supervisor are great companions of mine and they have requested some consultancy in front of their match against Bangladesh," Jurgenson told the Daily Star of Bangladesh.
"They simply need to think about what sort of group Bangladesh is and the effect of some individual players.
"I am here to help the Scottish young men yet you can't do much in two-three days and I accept there has been a lot of change with the Bangladesh players in the most recent few months."
Cricket Scotland affirmed that Jurgensen was ready only for Thursday's match.
"Enormous Scottish welcome to @shanejurgo who is helping us get ready for the amusement against @BCBtigers #followscotland," they tweeted.
