IBS Bangalore IBS Bangalore (IBS-B) was established in 1995, with the objective of providing quality management education. IBS Bangalore has been consistently ranked among the top B-schools in India, in the annual B-School surveys every year. In the fast paced and ever changing global business environment, a new breed of management professionals is called for. IBS is committed to developing these new age leaders, adept at handling the dynamics of the global business environment.
Student Driven Entrepreneurship Cell As a student driven entrepreneurship cell of IBS Bangalore, NEEV, has been started with an intention to encourage the entrepreneurial behavior of IBS Bangalore Students. In today’s competitive world, entrepreneurial behavior is of paramount importance and thus nurturing the same in the management students is the obvious first step.
Mission:
To provide a platform for harnessing entrepreneurial behavior in individuals; with an aim to encourage innovations and fresh ideas which would transform individuals into future leaders. Aim: To encourage the students of ICFAI Business School (IBS) Bangalore, to think like entrepreneurs. - To act as a connecting link between the IBS students & the National Entrepreneurial Network (NEN).
To ensure the transformation of ideas into pragmatic managerial applications. - To inculcate ethics, human values, integrated development, social welfare, professional knowledge and leadership among individuals; which would also contribute towards Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). - To strive for continuous improvement and encourage such acts and activities, which would facilitate the attainment of the aforesaid objectives. E-Week E-Week is an initiative taken by NEEV, the entrepreneurship cell of IBS Bangalore. The e-week will comprise a mix of activities ranging from ‘interaction with venture capitalists’ to cultural events. The main motive behind hosting e-week is to bring out the entrepreneurship behavior of the students of IBS Bangalore, which would serve as a motivation to become future entrepreneurs. The schedule of events lined up for the e-week is enumerated as under: Venue: IBS Bangalore Time: 3:30 pm – 8:00 pm
The event will start on 13th of December 2010 with opening ceremony, talk with entrepreneur and cooking competition
On 14th there will be business bazigar, rangoli competition, painting competition, mehendi competiton.
On 15th – workshop on innovation & entrepreneurship, gaming competition.
On 16th there will be kurukshetra and talks with venture capatilists
Finally on 17th there will be business plan competition, special performance and closing ceremony.
