I often wonder what is the use of imaginative thinking in our life? Ain't it a world of realism and facts! Imagination can be similar to our fantacies and dreams and may be a resort to our sub-conscious mind to act freely without any restrictions away from our daily stress and tension. It can be an aspiration to what is better and a reflection to the status quo.

Can imagination refer to our healthy thinking or just to imagine might be called: hallusinations!

how many of indians know the fact that--- Article 21 of the Constitution guarantees protection of life and personal liberty by providing that no person shall be deprived of his life or personal liberty except according to the procedure established by law. I keep saying that the hallmark of human behavior is emotions, which are only later rationalized into reason or, for complex subjects, reason-heavily-influenced-by-emotional-weight. In looking at simulating human thinking, one can't ignore the role of emotions and motivation. Without emotions, there is no meaning or rational to do anything. I would even say that what we call "reason" is really a hopscotch between different states that "feel" right. When asked to add "2 + 2", we don't actually count on our fingers, (well most of us), but we react with the factoid with the strongest emotional content from years of experience.

I think it has a profound effect on those issues, especially those which are fundamentally emotional experiences, (art, literature, ethics, belief and religion). I think the world already operates on a mostly emotional level, it is just that it is hard to admit -- for emotional reasons, (we have been conditioned to think that emotions are contrary to reason -- rather than the time used to reflect on emotions).

Look at how "inhuman" people are said to become when they receive brain injury to the area of the brain that coordinates emotions with memories.
