Incorporate a button (or code) on a cell phone which can be enabled by the
user when they are in danger. Once the device is enabled, any caller to
the phone will hear a prerecorded message saying 'If you hear this
message, I am in danger, call the police.'

if this facility wii be introduced by all sim-card companies ... Reliance, Hutch, BPL, Tata, BSNL, Trump, Dolphin, Airtel, Spice, etc. ... then surely one should get this facility in the times of danger like 26/7, i.e. in rainy seasons, in the times like 7/11,in accients, etc.,

won't it be better to have a button which will send this msg to ur mobile company perhaps... here the biggest problem is that you are dependent on someone to call you and hear the msg... or maybe a button to send a prerecorded msg to a number of your choice ?

Actually there is also the danger of someone accidently pressing the button and raising a false alarm...
