I have been thinking about this.

Have you guys ever done a random act of kindness and not think about it afterwards? I was forwarded an email that featured a family trying to build their house. Nothing of that teary teary a fire claimed all our possessions and we're dirt poor kinda stuff. It was actually a very straightforward email where they said that they weren't poor, but they weren't rich either, and if you could... please help us build our house.

they don't promise anything in return to you except to pass on the favor to someone else in some other form.

Then there was a paypal button.

And I just gave them $50.

I know it's probably not much.

One part of me thinks it's a scam.

But I feel great.

So I guess to answer my own question at the start of this thread....

NO.

yeah i have done lots of times like i have given many people money to reach their places as they have lost money here....but after knowing that this is something fake, i gaveup doing such kind of things

Even i dont believe in giving money in kind. Instead, you can give what they actually want. I was cheated before, and then onwards, i have just stopped it.

But my question here:Have you guys ever done a random act of kindness and not think about it afterwards? remains unanswered.
No matter how much good we do it becomes countless if we are given the credit of doing good. There's a saying up in hindi:
"Neki kar kuye me dal"
People, undoubtedly donate money and do charity, but these donations remain unworthy if the thought behind the charity is popularity
