How to become a Supply Chain Manager?

The administration of a system of interconnected businesses that involves the eventual provision of service as well as products that are asked for by the end customers is called as Supply chain management (SCM). A person who practices this and performs the necessary tasks is called as a Supply Chain Manager. There are lots of colleges in our country that provides graduate as well as postgraduate courses in supply chain management. Candidates who have finished their course in SCM will have a good knowledge about the logistics industry. Following the completion of their studies, students can get jobs with airline companies or surface carriers. Shipping companies also take in students of SCM after they have finished the course.

Qualifying Exam

The candidates are required to appear for an entrance exam to join the graduate course in PG course in supply chain management. A few important exams are the Tata Institute of Social Sciences MBA entrance exam, the ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test, the Maharashtra common entrance Test and the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Management Entrance Test. These are some of the other exams in SCM - Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test, Indian Institute Of Management Joint Entrance Exam and The Trichy Anna University Supply Chain Management Entrance Exam.
