How many states will India have after 10 years?

HOW MANY STATES WILL INDIA HAVE AFTER 10 YEARS???

In my school days, Geography taught me that India has 25 States and 7 Union Territories... It was a nightmare for me: remembering the names of all 25 States alongwith their Capitals

Now India has 28 states (though I am not sure about that)... Union Territories, I have no idea how many there are???

and while I am talking about it, we might see the formation of a new state in a few days...

HOW MANY STATES, do you think will India have, AFTER 10 YEARS???
 
in current senario one another satate demand come wich com from UTERPRADESH divided in to 2 on is purvanchal wich captial come Varansi so we never say that how many capital after 10 years

guys there should be atleast 40 states in india. I mean come on, whats ur opposition to higher number of states? that u have to mug up more in class 5? UP by itself is like the 6th or 7th populous country in the world. It should be divided into 3 states atleast, harit pradesh for western up, awadh around lucknow and purvanchal. Ditto with Maharashtra - vidharbha, konkan and rest of maharashtra. Make mumbai a union territory or rather an NCR kind of status. then u have states like karnatka where vast differences exist between needs and aspirations of north karnatka and south. the only thing that holds all these states together is some stupid emotional slogan of one language one state. grow up guys. smaller states are easier to administrate.
 
SMALLER STATES ARE EASIER TO ADMINISTRATE U R 100% RT BUT SAMMER MY FRND IT INCREASES A HELL LOT OF REVENUE BURDEN ON THE GOVT AS A CENTRAL GOVT IT INCREASES PROBLEM EVERYTIME NEW STATE ADDED ISSUES LIKE BUDGET ,DEFENCE HAVE TO LOOK FRWD YES SMALLER STATES CAN BE EASIER TO MANAGE FOR STATE GOVT BUT FOR THE CENTRAL GOVT ITS DIFFICULT TO MANAGE MANY STATES
 
there will be atleast 39 states in india at the end of next ten years as now the road is open for all to just demand for more and more states
 
A very grave question other than the above one is, Will there be a " India " after 10 years ?

India has such good neighbors like China and Pakistan.. and the sea covering it from the other 3 sides, we've threats from the environment as well as global politics.
 
increased number of states leads to increase in government expenditures and also more corruption. This will further divide the countries unity...
