2007 is a Chak De India year.2007 is not a bad year for India.This year sensex made a record bull-run.Rupee appreciated against US dollar.Team India lifted the T20 trophy.ICL made its beginning with T20 format.India's brand name increased in the global arena in 2007.India will march ahead in 2008.
There are some stray incidents in 2007 (better to be forgotten):
1.Nandigram heat
2.US meltdown shrinking sme billions from the global markets
3.India didn't even enter the second round of World cup 2007.
Can't recollect the rest of the items but overall its a good year for India.
