How does ShoutMeLoud make money?

I've just read about this blog by an Indian guy - harsh agarwal called shoutmeloud and it makes crazy amount of money.

How does he make soo much money?
 
That's a very interesting question and it has a pretty easy answer. Harsh updates his blog earnings on his site.

A quick analysis shows that he makes the most money in this order :

  1. Direct Ads
  2. SEMRUSH
  3. Adsense
  4. HostGator
  5. ClickBank
  6. DreamHost
  7. ShareASale
  8. Elegant Themes
  9. SocialOomph
  10. KnownHost

See how Adsense comes 3rd? This means most of his money comes through either the affiliate product and service sale or own product and service sales.

An advice to all bloggers is focus on building products and services or selling products and services of others instead of the going the Adsense route.

But wait, Adsense still contributes as the third best source of income so do not ignore it completely either.

Shoutmeloud is a blog started in 2008 and blogging is their primary resource of income. They updated their contents at regular basis and runs many programs for making money. Their monetization techniques include Affiliate marketing, Google Adsense, BuysellAds, Direct ad sales, Infolinks, Sponsored reviews, BlogSpot to WordPress migration Service, Blog consultancy program. They are almost earning $8000-9000 per month by just blogging and running all these programs on their blog.
