How do you guys think about U.S. Toxic-Asset plan?

U.S. Treasury will spend $1 trillion on banks' toxic asset. How do you guys think about it?

Hi,
Finally,we have the People's car out.Tata's are planning to have financial schemes tailored for them so that they can make profits even during these recession times.I feel ppl are even excited about having a car in their homes.It remembers me about the vision of Bill Gates to have Computer's in every home.Likewise Tata is dreaming to have a Nano in every home.But do we have enough infrastructure to support Nano on our roads

In my opinion, They should try to Stimulate the US economy directly by spending on their Infrastructural needs, revamping the their Health plan which will provide direct stimulus to the economy and will provide succor to the poeple which they sorely need rather than trying to give value to the toxic assets which inherently doesn't have any value and ultimately strain the treasury of the US, and It will also take a huge amount of time for the money to trickle down in the economy and have any positive impact and by that that time it will be too late to do anything.

US Plan to buy Toxic asset is a good plan to save Bank from collapsing and its ripple effect.
Slowly huge banks gets nationalised in Us. and goes for better corporate ethics and governance.
