Many startups work with Placement Consultants. Some are happy, but most are not. Initially, when the hiring need is very urgent, they overlook the fact that they will eventually shell out one month’s salary as fees of the placement agency. It’s only when the startup starts hiring multiple roles that the ‘one month fee’ starts hurting them and this hiring spend directly goes towards their monthly burn.
