Hindutva in politics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From the past so many decades, Hindutva has been a political ideology for many politicians. The inception of Hindutva ideology was in the hands of the RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh).

It has further been promoted by the BJP and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad. A political ideology should be an inspiration for many, a goal that unites all sections of the country and gives a common platform to voice their concerns.

The question that arises is- are we Indians ready to separate religion from politics or are we still under the shadow of politicians who instigate a large percentage of the population to vote on the basis of their religious identity.

From 1999 to 2004, the BJP government, known for its Hindutva ideology, controlled the reins of India. During their presence, catastrophes like Gujarat riots made the headlines. The same group was responsible for the demolition of the Babri Masjid as they wanted to construct the Ram temple on the same strip of land.

Are we living in a democratic nation or a Hindu nation where everything would be governed by Hindu ideologies. India needs people who can govern the country on the basis of needs and priorities rather than religious dos and don'ts.

THANX .
