<h2>Here's Everything You need to know About Maharaja Agrasen</h2>
Maharaja Agrasen was a legendary Indian king of Agroha in India, a city of traders, from whom the Agrawal and Agrahari community are descent. He has established Agroha, a kingdom of traders in North India. He is known for his bravery and leadership qualities and especially for his compassion in refusing to slaughter animals in yajnas. Agrasen was a vysya king of the solar dynasty who adopted vanika dharma for the benefit of his people.
Agrasen was the man whose tactics in war and devotions towards lord Shiva was epic. He lived for the people and always takes extreme steps to help his people live a better and saturated life. It is believed that he went into a deep penance for lord Shiva and he pleased him with the penance. Later Shiva advised him to propitiate Goddess after looking at his hard work and dedication. He started mediating Mahalaxmi, the goddess of wealth. She was impressed with Agrasen intention to benefit his peoples. She asked him to establish a new kingdom, and promised that she would bless his descendants with prosperity. She also said there would not be any lack of wealth in his kingdom.
It is also believed that while searching a new place for his kingdom, he saw few tigrs playing with each other. He thought that it might be the land of warriors and decided to set up is new empire on that land, named as Agroha.
