Help Regarding Project topic in Newspaper Industry

I would highly appreciate if anyone could help me on choosing the topic for my project. I am a final year MBA student specializing in Marketing. I got an opporutunity to do my final year project in a leading English daily. I am in need of a topic.

I worked out the following topics

1.Readers perception towards the newspaper
2.Market potential for English Newspapers
3.Impact of online marketing in increasing the readership
4.Competitor analysis
5.Feedback survey
6.Effectiveness of different kinds of marketing
7.Impact of particular segment of the newspaper on public...

But I am not satisfied with these topics. can anyone please suggest me some more topics?
 
Some people had researched on a complete new product in our college. The whole newspaper in cartoon format. The conclusion was that it was a good idea to be launched amongst elite crowd.

Can you pitch on one page inclusion of cartoon based news in your newspaper?
 
I had done my internship in DNA and done a project on mergers and acquisitions.

A couple of my friends who were more focused on marketing - sales had done a project on understanding sales strategy ( classifieds, ad slots, advertorial ) / marketing strategy ( innovations in discount coupons based subscription, violet branding, distribution strategy etc)

Dont go for fancy titles, go for substance and learning that enhances your current skill set needs.

Good idea...I haven't started the project. Only by this month end,I will be starting...After I start my project work, definitely I will pitch on about the inclusion of cartoon based news...
 
In the current information age... the readership of newspapers is getting affected. Few are even suggesting that in a couple of decades from now, newspapers will be a thing of the past.

Probably a study regarding the news on internet(and mobile) and how it is affecting newspaper readership/sales will be an interesting project. You will also be different in selecting this and in sync with the times. It will bring freshness to your course than the cliched 'marketing strategy of xxxx', or 'branding of yyyy' kind of topics.

Hey e1 i have taken mba marketing specialisation and m looking fr a PROJECT in NEWSPAPER INDUSTRY . Topics tat m looking for is consumer behaviour/satisfaction, rural marketing or any other different topic u can suggest . i wil b grateful if any 1 of u can UPLOAD A PROJECT REPORT regarding any TOPIC RELATED TO NEWSPAPER INDUSTRY ..
