Harvard Business School's upcoming Executive Education Program will Explore How to Achieve A Sustainable Competitive Advantage in The Global Economy

Mumbai: Harvard Business School (HBS) will host an executive education program, Aligning and Executing Strategy - India, from June 8-11, 2015 at the HBS style classroom, Taj Lands' End, Mumbai. The program will empower participants to capitalize on emerging industry trends, develop bold strategies, and confidently lead their implementation to drive organizational performance.

"Economic growth in India is creating exciting new opportunities and intense global competition. To stand out from the pack, Indian companies and multinational firms must be able to design innovative strategies and execute them successfully. Aligning and Executing Strategy-India program will help companies to develop strategies by blending the latest tools of strategy design with crucial techniques for execution, to build competitive advantage and achieve profitable growth" said Prof. Stephen P Bradley, the William Ziegler Professor of Business Administration Emeritus and Member of the Strategy Unit; and faculty chair of "Reinventing and Executing Strategy-China" and "Aligning and Executing Strategy-India."

This leadership development program is designed for senior executives doing business in India and around the globe across a wide range of industries, representing large established private companies seeking to enhance their business strategy as they expand into new markets and business lines. The program is well-suited for general or functional managers having significant responsibility for strategy development and strategic decision making in their companies.

"In the current scenario, it is vital for an organization to be fully prepared in dealing with industry structural changes, and secure a strategic edge for their company in the new economic climate. Aligning and Executing Strategy-India program examines the successes-and failures-of businesses from India and around the world, providing a richer understanding of the factors contributing to a winning strategy", said Prof David J. Collis, Adjunct Professor, Harvard Business School.

As with all HBS Executive Education programs, the India portfolio is taught by distinguished HBS faculty by using the renowned HBS case method. Faculty lectures, panel discussions, and assessment tools will create a dynamic learning environment. The program aims to build long-lasting relationships via the professional network through close interaction with an elite group of Indian and global peers.
