Gold prices dropped at the bullion market here today on heavy offerings by stockists triggered by bearish trend in overseas market. Silver also declined due to lack of demand from industrials users.
Standard gold (99.5 purity) slipped by Rs 180 per ten grams to end at Rs 18,545 from overnight closing level of Rs 18,725.
