It has been a core topic for quite sometime now.
Like two sides of a same coin it has a dark as well as a bright side. It has started making india stronger from d technological as well as economical point of view. But, it has led to the inflow of many industries which has hampered many domestic industries very badly especially ssi's. China's dumping is an example of it.
My contribution on it...

for sure globalisation is a boon as it helps in increase of standard of living and economic condition of the country, because of LPG concept ,India has developed so far.

Globalistation is good, but upto a certain extent,

Now there is tought competition in each & every field/ Sector,

Bcz. of Globalisation only,

But we are unable to Forecast i.e. unable to predict Future due to Globalisation.

what will be the future of Indian companies ?

Why we can't export certain items still to USA market ?

They have favourable policies of import only for those thing in which they find that the goods from outside conuntry are economical to them either in case of cost or Technology.

Globalisation has bring the world buisness into a single hut.

Now We can send our goods deliever services to any part of world,

Trsanperancy in the market regarding profits has been increasing day by day.

We will have to define a line , fix up criteria upto which extent we can go for globalisation,

Otherwise the Big Fish will continue swallo-up small fishes in the pond.

These are my thoughts
Give your opinion

hey friends i think globlisation is really beneficial for India as it had helped Indian companies as well as public to have an exposure of the outside world....

Bane

The negative effects of globalization

* Opponents of globalization point out to its negative effects. Some of them are listed below.
Developed nations have outsourced manufacturing and white collar jobs. That means less jobs for their people. This has happened because manufacturing work is outsourced to developing nations like China where the cost of manufacturing goods and wages are lower. Programmers, editors, scientists and accountants have lost their jobs due to outsourcing to cheaper locations like India.
* Globalization has led to exploitation of labor. Prisoners and child workers are used to work in inhumane conditions. Safety standards are ignored to produce cheap goods.
* Job insecurity. Earlier people had stable, permanent jobs. Now people live in constant dread of losing their jobs to competition. Increased job competition has led to reduction in wages and consequently lower standards of living.
* Terrorists have access to sophisticated weapons enhancing their ability to inflict damage. Terrorists use the Internet for communicating among themselves.
* Companies have set up industries causing pollution in countries with poor regulation of pollution.
* Fast food chains like McDonalds and KFC are spreading in the developing world. People are consuming more junk food from these joints which has an adverse impact on their health.
* The benefits of globalization is not universal. The rich are getting richer and the poor are becoming poorer.
* Bad apects of foreign cultures are affecting the local cultures through TV and the Internet.
* Enemy nations can spread propaganda through the Internet.
* Deadly diseases like HIV/AIDS are being spread by travellers to the remotest corners of the globe.
* Local industries are being taken over by foreign multinationals.
* The increase in prices has reduced the governments ability to sustain social welfare schemes in developed countries.
* There is increase in human trafficking.
* Multinatonal Companies and corporations which were previously restricted to commercial activities are increasingly influencing political decisions.

I feel that globalization is good for our country as it pushes us to be more innovative, so that we become more advanced and raise our standard of living as compared with other countries through competition. Globalization has a simple philosophy hidden in it i.e. life is a challenge, you win some you lose some but ultimately you learn and become better. I think the country that thinks globalization is a bane is hiding its inability to manage the country and their people should work harder with unity to overcome their weaknesses. A good example is how Germany has risen from the ashes of 2nd world war. We can't let mismanagement come in the way of development, quality and standard of living, can we?I feel that globalization is good for our country as it pushes us to be more innovative, so that we become more advanced and raise our standard of living as compared with other countries through competition. globaliosation is good for thew smaller countries as they can devlop faster..but in the name of globalisation big countries shld not exploit small countries..and over extent of globalistion is really dangerous ..

Tooooooooooooo late to even debate this... cause whether u like it or n ot its globalized now....... no country is isolated now.. so things have to be accepted as it is.... the best that can be done is make the best use of globalization and start whining abt it....

globalisation is a boon, since it created a revolution in the indian manufacturing trend and also a lot of foreign investments.

its silly that we are still discussing this topic.....one of the prime fetures of globalization is that it is irreversable...so insted one should try to find out ways to get the best in the current scenario

globalization has affected india positively in many ways...improved exports..better imports...better technology...etc..globalization has also increased our standard of living..innovation is another point...i don't think there are any nooks in case of globalization..

It has both positive and negative for all the countries.
If Ur country is having large production capacity. then it is good for globalisation.

It is enrichment both in positive & negative way; however, it is individual outlook to react in WHAT WAY!!!!!:hand:

it has got its own pros and cons...while at some stage it has added free trade flow on the other hand, any ripples felt at developed economy will have cacading effect on emerging economies also....
