According to me,
it is a gud budget if u look at it in the short term prospect. because, no freight charges are increased, no ticket fare is increased.in fact, freight charges for food grains and kerosene is decreased Rs 100/ per wagon. but, if u consider the long term period, where do the railways will get their fund from for its liabilities and renovation???? the surplus of fund left with railways is decreased to Rs. 3100cr from 4000+ cr. as a result, it should to depend on the government again for funding. as a result, some or the other way, the burden will be again induced on the common man...
The most important thing is that there is no guarantee that the govt. won't increase the fare in the mid of the year.
it is fairly a pure political budget to get the votes
