All India management association will administer the forthcoming management aptitude test (MAT) for screening candidates for MBA & allied programs on 03 December 2006 (Sunday). Mat, which is approved as a national level test by the ministry of human resource Development (HRD) govt. of India; has now about 200 B- school accepting the MAT score of December 2006 administered through ISO 9001:2000 quality certified systems and procedures. Out of the five approved national level tests; MAT has been recording maximum acceptance in terms of the number of schools accepting the score. Hence it is also the test, which caters to fill probably the maximum acceptance in terms of the number of B-school accepting the score. Hence it is also the test, which caters to fill probably the maximum number of MBA seats in the country.
MAT bulletin with form for 03 December 2006 test is now available for sale. The sales outlets consist of a wide network of select branches of UTI bank, AIMA nodal centers and some of the participating B-schools. The consolidated charge for the MAT bulleting is Rs.650/- by cash from these outlets. Candidates intending to get the form by post may send a demand draft for Rs. 690/- in favor of all India management Association-CMS, payable at New Delhi along with two self addressed slips of the candidates. The DD is to be sent to senior Dy Director AIMA-CMS, Management House, 14 institutional Area, Lodi Road, New Delhi -110003 the last date for sale of MAT bulletin is till 15 November 2006 (Wednesday), filled forms by the candidates will be accepted at AIMA, New Delhi is 17 November 2006(Friday).
MAT is being administered four times a year- on the first Sunday of February, May, September and December, The MAT scores with a validity of one year are scaled ones and hence comparable among different administrations. The test centers cover the entire length and breadth of the country. The test consists of five sections viz. language comprehension, mathematical skills, data Analysis & n Sufficiency, intelligence & Critical reasoning and Indian & Global environment. Each section consists of 40 questions. The total of 200 questions is to be attempted within 150 minutes . it is and objective type test with multiple-choice answers. Wrong answer carries negative marks. This comprehensive test assesses the aptitude-the potential to perform successfully in future managerial assignments. This is a time tested and trusted scheme.
