Games Are Sold around the World Yet Youth Violence is virtually Non-Existent in Those Countries
Many of the games with violent content sold in the United States and some with far more violence are sold in foreign markets.
If these games caused violent behavior, one would expect the rates of youth violence in these markets to be comparable with those in the United States.
In reality, though, the incidence of youth violence in these foreign markets is considerably lower, and in fact, does not even approach the levels in the United States.
Why then is violent crime among juveniles much lower in foreign markets that sell identical video game products?
